Liza Soberano Story Behind Messages From AJ Perez After His Death

Actress Liza Soberano revealed that she received messages on Twitter, now called X, from the late actor AJ Perez.

AJ was one of the young actors whose career was blooming during the early 2000s. However, an unfortunate event happened at the height of his career. He figured in a car accident in 2011 that led to his death.

His unexpected death broke the hearts of many fans. In a recent interview, Liza shared that she was a fan of the late actor.

TikTok user @98hopie shared a portion of the said interview in which Liza Soberano admitted that she created a Twitter account in order to have a memory the AJ Perez. She first saw him in the series Sabel and she immediately admired him.

Then, the actress shared that after AJ’s death, she started receiving messages from the late actor’s account. At first, Liza was afraid and she thought it was strange to receive messages from someone who already passed away.

Eventually, she checked the messages and found out that those were from AJ’s family. Through that, Liza became close to the late actor’s family. “I became friends with his younger brother Gello and his family eventually, I was introduced to them,” she shared.

The actress also shared that on the day AJ had an accident, she passed by the area where his car crashed. Liza shared that from Pangasinan to the venue where she was supposed to audition for the first time, she saw the actor’s car but initially, she had no idea that it was him.

It was Liza’s road manager back then who told her that AJ Perez died in that car accident. When the actress heard that sad news, she cried and said that she wanted to go to his wake but she was told by her family, “he does not know you.”
