Cristy Fermin reacted to fake news about the “politician” who allegedly owns Dominic Roque’s condo
Veteran showbiz writer/commentator Cristy Fermin had this clarification on their previous discussion about the politician being linked to showbiz personality Dominic Roque.
Many speculations surfaced surrounding Dominic’s breakup with Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo. One of those was the question of his gender preference. In one of the episodes of Showbiz Now Na, Cristy’s showbiz talk show with Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez, they talked about the BeaDom breakup.
Cristy shared that based on her source, Bea’s family was doing an investigation about Dominic’s finances because he is living in a high-end condominium unit that not many celebrities dare to buy because of the expensive price.
The showbiz writer shared that it was found out that the condo was under the name of a male politician. From that, several speculations surfaced about the identity of the politician.
In a recent episode of SNN, based on the article in Bandera, Cristy lamented the fact that several vloggers and netizens speculated the identity of the politician and political figures were dragged into the issue. She said that they are standing by what they shared about the politician who owns the condo but they did not give any names.
“Ang dami-dami pong mga pangalan ng politikong nadamay na magmula nang ilantad ng SNN ang kuwento tungkol sa hiwalayan nina Bea Alonzo at Dominic Roque. Hindi po kami nahihiya sa aming inilantad pero kami’y nalulungkot dahil ‘yun pong kwento namin ay pinulot po ng iba na para bang ‘yung iba ay pinulutan pa (SNN) ang napapasama ngayon,” Cristy said.
She added that it is fine that she is being mentioned as the one who talked about the politician but she stressed that people should not connect her to identifying the politician’s names.
There were speculations that the male politician in Dominic’s life was Senator Bong Go, some speculated that it was Congressman Joey Salceda while for some, it was Congressman Sandro Marcos.
Netizens also speculated before that the condo was owned by Congressman Bong Suntay, who also owns Clean Fuel which Dominic is endorsing. After that, it was alleged that Dominic and Dapitan Mayor Bullet Jalosjos have something romantic between them because of their photos together.
