Ogie Diaz mentioned something about Bea Alonzo
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s co-host Mrena shared that based on a source the projects that were offered to Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo were offered first to Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
Bea’s first Kapuso series was the Pinoy version of the Korean drama series Start-Up with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards. Then, it was followed by another drama series with drama king Dennis Trillo titled Love Before Sunrise.
For her next series, she will do a murder mystery genre with Carla Abellana. This project was recently announced and the story conference was already held.
In one of the recent episodes of the Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie Diaz, his co-host Mrena mentioned that a source revealed that projects offered to Bea Alonzo were first presented to Marian Rivera.
If allegedly the wife of Dingdong Dantes declines the project, then, the second choice will be the former Kapamilya star. This received a comment from a Kapuso writer.
Writer RJ Nuevas shared in a Facebook post of a screenshot of a news write-up about the supposed way how the projects were offered to Bea. He said that this is not true. Nuevas shared that for the new series of Bea, GMA asked him to pitch a concept for the actress.
The Widow’s Web was approved by the Kapuso management as Bea’s next project. “Hindi po ito totoo! Hiningan po ako ng concept for Bea Alonzo, at ang naisip ko at ipinasa at naaprubahan ng mga boss ay ang WIDOWS’ WAR. Para po talaga kay Bea ang show at walang inalukan na iba. Ganon din po ang dalawa niyang naunang shows,” the writer shared.
