Bea Alonzo has these past statements about the type of wedding she likes
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz said in a recent vlog that his source revealed that Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo wanted to have a grand wedding but her past statements contradicted this claim.
Ogie was one of the showbiz vloggers who discussed the much-talked-about breakup between Bea and Dominic. Previously, he said that even senators were asking him about the reason why the former couple called off their engagement.
With that, Ogie shared that his source revealed that there was one time when Bea and Dominic were listing down the guests they wanted to invite for their wedding, it was said that Bea wanted to invite a lot of people because she allegedly intended to have a grand wedding.
However, it was said that Dominic just wanted to have an intimate wedding, and considering his financial status and the wedding will be abroad, he did not like the idea of a grand wedding.
However, the fan page @MovieQueenBea on X, formerly known as Twitter, dedicated to Bea Alonzo contradicted the source of Ogie Diaz. Several clips were shared from Bea’s past interviews.
In those interviews, the Kapuso actress expressed that she wants an intimate wedding. She even mentioned that it was Dominic who listed a lot of friends he wanted to invite. In an interview on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s show, she said, “Ang dami niyang (Dominic) kaibigan, Tito Boy.”
She also shared that when they would write the guests they would like to invite, Dominic was having a hard time excluding someone from their guest list. “Kasi ayaw ko nga ng malaking wedding talaga. Gusto ko maliit lang,” the actress said.
In an apparent vlog, Bea said that a simple wedding has been her dream since she was a young girl. Then, in an interview on 24 Oras’s Chika Minute, she mentioned that what they will have will not be a grand wedding. This was the same thing she said in an interview with ABS-CBN.
Bea’s fan page also included a snippet from Star Studio Wedding Magazine which was published in 2007. “Hindi naman ako anti-social but I would like a wedding with only a few people,” the actress said.
