Bea Alonzo & Dominic Roque’s Official Statement About Breakup
BEA ALONZO – Former couple Bea Alonzo and Dominique Roque announced on their Instagram posts that they have jointly chosen to amicably end their engagement.
Bea Alonzo first confirmed her relationship with Dominic Roque in April 2021, with the actress subsequently announcing their engagement in July 2023. Last week, King of Talk Boy Abunda revealed that Alonzo and Roque have separated after weeks of speculation, noting that they were attempting to mend their relationship at the time.
Both Alonzo and Roque appealed to the public for privacy, asking to be spared from further hurtful comments on social media.
Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque officially confirmed on Sunday that they have called off their engagement, finally putting an end to the ongoing rumors about their relationship status.
In a joint statement shared on their Instagram accounts, Alonzo and Roque expressed that the decision to split was mutual.
“After much thought, consideration, and care, we have mutually decided to amicably end our engagement. It was not an easy decision,” the artists said.
“We wanted to have more time to carefully deliberate and pray about it, but there have been many speculations, questions and insults,” they said.

Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque stated that they decided to speak up because several individuals had openly discussed their relationship.
“Some even confirmed our break-up without our consent and some created ridiculous stories that had no basis and were utterly false, so we felt the need to share this announcement with great sadness, for our peace of mind and our families,” the ex-couple said.
