Is it true that Kathryn Bernardo will no longer renew her contract with Star Magic?
Rumor has it that Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo will transfer to Crown Artist Management, the talent management company established by Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez.
Kathryn’s acting career blossomed under ABS-CBN. She was among the child stars of her generation who eventually made it big in the entertainment industry. She was part of one of the most successful loveteams, the KathNiel, with her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla.
Outside the loveteam, Kathryn did solo projects that established her name as a critically acclaimed actress.
After more than two decades of being handled by Star Magic, the talent management company of the Kapamilya network. However, rumors recently surfaced that Kathryn Bernardo will no longer renew her contract with the ABS-CBN’s talent management company.
In a recent article in PEP, it was stated that speculations have been circulating in showbiz that CAM will handle Kathryn’s career after her contract with Star Magic expired and rumors surfaced that she will no longer renew it. It was also mentioned that there has been rumors that the actress will leave the Kapamilya network.
On the other hand, Kathryn’s mother Min Bernardo clarified in a statement that the actress will not leave ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, CAM recently had a press release about the achievements of its artists in 2023. A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz is being managed by Maja’s talent management company. He won Gawad Urian Best Actor award last year for Direk Lav Diaz’s film Kapag Wala Nang Mga Alon.
CAM also handles Miles Ocampo who won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 for the movie Family Of Two. Maja Salvador was hailed as the Best Game Show Host at the Asian TV Awards for her game show Emojination on TV5.
