Ogie Diaz shared what happened after Ian Veneracion was criticized because of his talent fee
Actor Ian Veneracion received more inquiries after director Ronaldo Carballo revealed the P500,000 talent fee he asked for a 2-hour parade in Tarlac.
Ian was criticized for asking that amount for a short time. Carballo claimed that the actor’s road manager even asked for an additional P100,000 per hour if it exceeded two hours. The director also said that the road manager demanded that the actor should have a solo float.
Carballo said in his follow-up post that the organizers of the Tarlac festival and the camp of the actor asked him to take down his post but he insisted on what he posted.
In a previous article, the camp of Ian Veneracion released a statement. His management denied that an additional payment was demanded as well as the solo float that Carballo posted.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, he shared that the actor even received more inquiries after the talent fee issue.
Ogie shared that he talked to Ian and said to the actor that the P500K talent fee that he asked for that parade was cheap. Regarding the bashing that he received because of Carballo’s post, Ian said that he does not know where the anger came from.
Because of what happened, Ogie said that there are more inquiries now for Ian’s appearance. “Daming nag-iinquire at nakakatuwa may Valentine show siya,” he said about the actor, adding that there are a lot of people asking about the tickets.
“Nakaganda pa yata yung isinulat sa kaniya, ang dami niyang bookings,” Ogie said. The talent manager-vlogger also said that Ian Veneracion is looking at the bright side of what happened but he does not want this issue to go bigger.
