Janno Gibbs mentioned Kathryn Bernardo in an interview
Singer-actor Janno Gibbs shared something about Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo who became close to his father, the late actor Ronaldo Valdez.
Janno recently held a press conference with his lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan to answer the issue surrounding the death of his father. He criticized the Quezon City Police District for allegedly “mishandling” the case.
The singer-actor wanted the authorities to issue a public apology for the video of his father that leaked online. He also slammed those who accused him of being the alleged mastermind behind the death of the veteran actor.
Janno Gibbs also revealed what happened after his father was found bloodied in his room. He said that Ronaldo was still alive at that time.
During the same press conference, based on the article in ABS-CBN News, Janno mentioned the overwhelming support that their family received amid this difficult time. One of those who showed love and support for them was Kathryn Bernardo.
Janno revealed that Kathryn was one of the first people who arrived at the wake. Among the people outside Ronaldo’s family, she was the only one who was given the chance to view.
“Kathryn was there, one of the first at the wake, and she was the only one outside our immediate family allowed to view. They were really close,” Janno revealed.
The singer-actor also thanked ABS-CBN for taking care of his father. He said that Ronaldo loved the network and his colleagues in his projects under ABS-CBN. Janno also acknowledged the love that Ronaldo received from his co-stars, especially from the cast of 2 Good 2 Be True.
Janno Gibbs is also grateful that before his father passed away, they were able to make the movie Itutumba Ka ng Tatay Ko, which is his directorial debut. “This is the best parting gift my dad can give me and my family. At least we can watch him in a good way, looking as handsome as ever,” he said, adding that he hopes people will watch this to remember his father in this kind of element.
