Gladys Reyes shared something about Judy Ann Santos
Primera Kontrabida Gladys Reyes revealed that she and drama queen Judy Ann Santos did not “click” at first and here is the reason behind that.
Gladys and Judy Ann worked together in the 90s drama series Mara Clara. That project boosted their acting career in the entertainment industry and paved their way to stardom.
Since that series ran for many years, a strong friendship was formed between Gladys and Judy Ann and this continued until the present.
However, Gladys Reyes admitted it took some time before she and Judy Ann Santos became close. The Primera Kotrabida revealed this in a recent vlog of Diamond Star Maricel Soriano, based on the article in Balita.
Maricel asked Gladys how she and Juday were back then. She admitted that she and Juday did not click at first because they have opposite personalities.
“Hindi kami ‘yong nag-click agad sa totoo lang. Kasi, Nay, si Judy Ann baligtad na baligtad ‘yong personality namin. Si Judy Ann is a very quiet,” Gladys said. She added that most of the time Juday just wanted to sleep because as a child star, her schedule was busy and so she wanted to take a rest.
Gladys was the opposite. She would always have chika with the crew and staff. “So, ako naman parang that time, ‘parang ayaw naman akong kausap ni Judy Ann’. Kasi laging tulog,” she shared.
Then, she said that perhaps that was the reason why people would think that Juday was “suplada.” It is because her co-actress would just be inside the van when they would do out-of-town shows. Juday would just go out when it was time for her part in the show.
However, Gladys Reyes and Judy Ann Santos became close after their workshop for the 1996 movie Sana Naman.
