Carlo Aquino and Barbie Imperial are set to do their second movie together
Actress Barbie Imperial revealed what she did for her role in her upcoming second movie with actor Carlo Aquino.
Barbie and Diego were first paired in the movie I Love Lizzy which was released last year. In a recent Instagram post, Barbie shared her new look for the new year. “New hair for new year.. and new role,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
The actress did not mention about her upcoming project or her co-stars. She just thanked the establishment that gave her that new look.
In a recent interview, based on the article in the Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, the actress said that she really intended to have shorter hair for her new role. Many netizens admired Barbie’s new look. It is because she wanted the viewers to see that stark difference from her character Lizzy.
She also revealed the shoot location for her second movie with Carlo Aquino. “We had a meeting and naisip namin ibahin ‘yung look and ibang iba talaga kay Lizzy so we went for a super simple look which is short hair and we are gonna shoot the movie in Japan,” Barbie Imperial shared.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Barbie only had positive words for Carlo as her leading man. She said that she was comfortable working with him.
“Kasi napakabait, napaka-gentleman at palagi po siyang nanlilibre ng kape. As in araw-araw nililibre niya po kami ng kape. And, napakagaling po, grabe,” the actress explained.
Back then, the actor also praised his leading lady. He said that he was at ease working with Barbie. He admitted that during the look test, he was a bit aloof but the actress was already making him feel comfortable. “‘Ah ganoon pala ‘yung Barbie’ o sige,” Carlo Aquino said, adding that he appreciated that Barbie Imperial opened up about her past.
