The list of 100 Most Beautiful/Handsome Faces this year included these Filipino celebs
TC Candler and the Independent Critics release The 100 Most Beautiful/Handsome Faces every year and for 2023, several Filipino celebs were included in the list.
Since 1990, TC Candler and the Independent Critics have been releasing the list annually. Over 40 countries are represented in its rankings.
This year South Korean-American singer Nancy McDonie of K-pop girl group MOMOLAND got the number one spot In the Most Beautiful Faces. Last year, she was number two. Nancy was followed by Russian model Dasha Taran and the third place was occupied by TWICE member Sana.
It was stated on the official website of TC Candler that “Aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope…they are all embodied in a beautiful face.”
Several Pinay celebrities made it to the list. Controversial actress Andrea Brillantes made it to number 16. She is the only Filipina who entered the Top 20.
Other female celebrities in the Philippines who were included in the list were actress-YouTuber Ivana Alawi who was number 21 and actress Liza Soberano who was the winner in 2017 took the number 28 spot.
Actress Janine Gutierrez was 45th while the 71st spot was given to actress Belle Mariano. This is the ninth time that Liza appeared in the poll while it is Janine’s 3rd year and Ivana’s 4th year. Belle is considered a new entry.
For the Most Handsome Faces this year, American-French actor Timothée Chalamet got the number one spot. P-Pop personalities also rose in this list.
Filipino celebs who were included in these were SB19 members Felip (Ken), who was number 34, and Josh, who was listed as number 71 on the list. Kyler (27th) and Reyster (58th) of HORI7ON also made it to the list.
