Dimples Romana has this tribute to Ronaldo Valdez
Actress Dimples Romana recalled, through her Instagram post, how veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez changed her life.
Dimples was one of the celebrities who was saddened by Ronaldo’s death. The veteran actor passed away on December 17. Based on the initial report from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), the cause of death was gunshot wounds on his right and left temple.
His death broke the hearts of many fans. Dimples also expressed the fondest memory that she had with the veteran actor that changed her life.
Through her Instagram post, Dimple Romana showed how important Ronaldo Valdez was when she was having a rough year.
The actress shared photos taken during their shoot for an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) back in 2009. “May mga taong sadyang makakapagpabago ng pagtingin mo sa buhay. Tatatak sila sayo hanggang sa huli at kailanman ay hindi mo sila malilimot. Ikaw yun sa akin. At sa napakarami pa naming nagmamahal sayo Lo,” the actress wrote.
Dimples shared that at that time, she felt lost and broken. During their two-day shoot for that episode, her perspective suddenly changed. “My faith in life, love and my craft was renewed,” she said.
The actress also shared that Ronaldo was always full of joy, life, and gratitude. His smile would always light up their set and his warmth reached the hearts of everyone. For Dimples, this was Ronaldo’s gift.
She expressed her gratitude to the veteran actor for everything that she has learned and realized about life. Dimples also appreciated the laughter that she had with him and the tight hugs she received from him.
“My heart is broken but will never be disheartened. For you Lolo taught me to brave the huge waves of life with a spirit of a warrior whose armor is not made of steel but is made of love. The kind that endures all and conquers even the darkest of days,” the actress shared.
Dimples Romana is saluting Ronaldo Valdez, one of the greatest actors the industry could have. She said that the veteran actor knew the value of his work and every single person on the set.
“Mahal ka namin Lo. Mahal na mahal. Pahinga na po. Patuloy ka naming mamahalin at titingalain,” she wrote.
