Allan K has this reaction to guesting of Alden Richards on the Kapamilya noontime show
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards guested on the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime and this received a reaction from EAT host Allan K.
Allan and Alden have been together for many years on Eat Bulaga. They were part of the lively and vibrant Dabarkads. With his decision to concentrate on his acting career, Alden had to leave his daily stint on the Kapuso noontime show.
However, Alden has expressed his support for TVJ and the legit Dabarkads, especially amid the issue between their camp and Eat Bulaga’s producer TAPE Inc.
The guesting that Alden Richards did on It’s Showtime last December 4 garnered different reactions. For some, this is intriguing because he expressed his loyalty to TVJ and Dabarkads who now have their show on TV5.
However, fans defended Alden, who reiterated that the actor said he is willing to appear in other noontime shows if it is for promoting a project only. This was what the actor did on the Kapamilya noontime show. He promoted his movie Family of Two with Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Allan K was asked to react to Alden’s guesting on It’s Showtime.
The seasoned comedian-host said that they know the actor can do nothing about this since this is part of his job. “Nagpu-promo sila ng movie nila, eh. At saka… basta! Hahahahaha!” he said.
Allan added that most likely, Alden will not be permitted to promote his movie on their show because it is on TV5. The Kapamilya noontime show is also airing on GTV, the network owned by GMA.
When asked if he and Alden are still friends until now, Allan said, “Oo naman! Si Tisoy (tawag niya kay Alden) pa! Nag-DM (direct message) nga siya sa akin noong premiere night niya. In-invited niya ako, at sabi ko, yes pupunta ako.”
However, Allan explained that he was not able to attend because something came up that night. The comedian-host stressed that he watched Alden’s movie Five Breakups and a Romance with Julia Montes. “Nag-support naman kami, nagkataon lang na sa premiere night may ginawa ako sa Klowns Republik!” Allan added.
Previously, Tito Sotto also reactred to Alden Richards’s guesting on the Kapamilya noontime show. He also understands that Alden is a contract star of GMA.
