Daniel Padilla Feels Insecure About Alden Richards – Cristy Fermin

Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin said that Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla feels insecure about Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.

The issue between Daniel and Alden is not new anymore. It was rumored back in 2019 that there was a conflict between them. This surfaced due to Alden’s movie project, Hello, Love, Goodbye with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo, the now-former girlfriend of Daniel.

Back then, it was rumored that Alden and Daniel’s first meeting did not go well. However, comedienne-singer Kakai Bautista, one of the HLG cast members, said that the two actors’ meeting was “smooth”.

When Alden Richards spoke about his first meeting with Daniel Padilla, he shared what the Kapamilya actor told him. Daniel congratulated the Kapuso actor and thanked him for taking care of Kathryn.

This past issue between the two actors resurfaced after it was confirmed that Daniel and Kathryn had broken up. It is because some fans were trying to ship Kathryn and Alden.

In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s showbiz talk show, she mentioned the two actors. She said that Daniel is insecure about Alden. Her co-host Romel Chika added that this is the reason why it took so long before the HLG project was followed because it was said that Daniel does not want Alden and Kathryn to work again together.

Fans have been demanding that HLG should have a sequel. It earned ₱880.6M and it became the top-grossing Filipino film. This was followed by the KathNiel movie The Hows Of Us.

“Hindi, ang pinakamalinaw doon, noong sumunod siya [Daniel] sa Hongkong—kay Kathryn—binati niya lahat ‘yung nandoon. Nilampasan niya si Alden. Anong tawag mo doon? O, di ba. Eh ‘di nai-insecure ka at nagseselos ka at the same time,” Cristy Fermin said.

It was also said that Alden Richards refused to speak about fans’ desire to see him in a project again with Kathryn Bernardo because he wanted to avoid negative reactions.
