Bar 2023 – Senior Associate Justice Marvic Leonen shared his message for aspiring lawyers who are waiting for the bar exam results.

The bar exam result is one of the most anticipated exam results every year. Over the years, this has been a tradition for many aspiring lawyers to wait in front of the Supreme Court for the release of the results.

This year, SC announced that the bar exam results will be released on December 5, 2023. Preparations have been made already.

In line with this, Marvic Leonen, a former Bar chairperson, shared a reminder to all the bar takers who are hoping that they will be officially called “lawyers.” He said that exam takers should be prepared for whatever the result will be.

In his post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Senior Associate Justice said, “Be humble. Learn patience. Learn how to be resilient. Be compassionate. Serve our people. Do justice.”

Prior to this, he also reminded the aspiring lawyers to be grateful to everyone around them. “For those awaiting the results of this year’s bar exams, all the best! As early as now, and regardless of the results, you should take the time to thank all those who helped you get to where you are right now. Hope for the best but accept whatever happens Serve the people!” Leonen stressed.

The gates of the Supremer Court Main Building will be open from 12:00 noon to 6:00 P.M on Tuesday for the viewing of the lists of bar passers. Based on the article in Interaksyon, last September, 10,387 out of 10,791 aspiring lawyers took the three-day examinations.
