The 72nd edition of the MU pageant, known as Miss Universe 2023, occurred on November 19, 2023, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador. Following the event, the reigning Miss Universe, R’Bonney Gabriel, will pass on her title to the new winner.
Annually, approximately 90 contestants from diverse countries come together to compete for the highly sought-after MU title. The Miss Universe organization values and celebrates the rich diversity of cultures, ethnicities, and religions represented by the participants, emphasizing its global and inclusive approach.
