Bianca Umalis was chosen as one of the Sang’gres
Kapuso actress Bianca Umali received this advice from her fellow Sang’gre Glaiza de Castro who played the role of Pirena.
The new Sang’gre series is a sequel to the first Encantadia series released in the 2000s and had a remake in 2016 that featured Glaiza, along with Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia.
Previously, Bianca shared how she prepared for this upcoming Kapuso series. She said that her preparation was like preparing to do a Marvel movie. She needs to be equipped to do action scenes.
Indeed, this project is something that Bianca Umali is very grateful for when it comes to her acting career. One of the things that she is thankful for is the kind words she received from her fellow Sang’gre.
Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Bianca shared what Glaiza advised her. “‘Wag kang magpapakain sa pressure,’” Bianca shared what Glaiza told her. “Sinabi niya na ‘enjoy-in mo lang because masaya ‘yan.’ Kasi kinukwento niya sa’kin ‘yung experience niya lalo pa na siya si Pirena,” the younger actress added.
One thing that made Bianca excited was meeting her siblings in the series. She will be playing the role of Terra, the new keeper of Brilyante ng Lupa. She will be joined by Faith da Silva will play Flamarra, keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy; Kelvin Miranda will play Adamus, the new protector of the Brilyante ng Tubig; and Angel Guardian will play the role of Deia, keeper of the Brilyante ng Hangin.
Glaiza de Castro will be returning as Pirena and Rocco Nacino as Aquil. The cast will be joined by Rhian Ramos as Mitena, Cassiopeia’s twin
“Sobrang excited because ‘yung pressure and ‘yung takot is what fuels me to do my best,” Bianca Umali said.
