The Acer Iconia Tab A500 was officially announced in February 2011. The tablet is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 3260 mAh battery. It was launched in a single color, Black.

The dimension of the device is 260 x 177 x 13.3 mm and weighs 730 grams. It comes with a screen size of 10.1 inches LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Platform:
The tab is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 2 T20 Dual-core processor coupled with a ULP GeForce graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on Android 3.0, upgradable to the 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. It is packed with 1GB of RAM while the internal storage has 16GB and 32GB options.
Main Camera:
The rear side of the Acer Iconia Tab A500 sports a 5-megapixel camera with features like LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, there’s a 2-megapixel camera for clicking selfies and self-shooting videos.
