PNP Releases Suspect’s Face Behind The Killing Of Juan Jumalon

PNP has this update on Juan Jumalon’s case

The Philippine National Police (PNP) released an image showing the suspect’s face behind the killing of radio broadcaster Juan Jumalon, popularly known as DJ Johnny Walker.

Jumalon was shot dead during his radio program on the morning of November 5. This was simulcast on Facebook Live and two gunshots were heard before one of the suspects grabbed his necklace.

President Bongbong Marcos condemned the killing of the radio broadcaster and ordered the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation.

On November 6, authorities stated that there were three possible motives behind the killing of the radio broadcaster. One of the things that authorities are looking for is that it can be a result of a personal grudge. It was also reported that there were three persons of interest in this case. The two suspects went inside the house of Jumalon where he had his makeshift radio studio.

Then, it was said that the other person of interest served as a lookout. On Monday, the PNP also released a computerized facial composite of one of the suspects behind the killing of radio broadcaster Juan Jumalon.

The Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office released this on Facebook. However, the name of the suspect was not identified yet. He is 5’5 to 5’6 in height and weighs 70 kg. Based on the initial investigation, the suspect is 40 years and above with a fair complexion and has a medium build. It was also stated that the suspect was wearing a red cap, green t-shirt, and black shorts.
