Joey Paras last moments shared by his niece
Joey Paras Last Moments – Zciara Shyne Sinchon-Fabian, the niece of the late comedian Joey Paras shared the last moments he had.
On October 29, 2023, it was confirmed that Joey passed away. Through a social media post, Zciara informed the public about this sad news. Along with her confirmation, she asked the public to help them with their financial needs, especially the hospital bills.
Based on the article in PEP, Zciara shared that they had to pay about PHP55,000.00 for the hospital bills and PHP130,000.00 for their expenses in St. Peter Memorial Chapels.
Joey’s niece added that there are other expenses aside from this. She also shared the last moments of her uncle.
The comedian died at Metro South Medical Center but he was not confined. He was just brought to the said medical institution. “Base sa kuwento ng kasambahay ni Tito Joey, silang dalawa lang ang nasa bahay nang mangyari ang insidente,” Zciara shared.
It was back in 2016 when Joey revealed his medical condition. In 2018, he underwent surgery and in 2020, he had an angioplasty operation.
“Inatake po ng two times si Tito Joey, pero nag-okay naman dahil meron siyang pacemaker device sa loob ng kanyang dibdib. Tapos, kumain siya nung hapon at natulog, kaso hindi na siya magising,” Joey’s niece shared.
When Joey was already unconscious, his companion in the house decided to Zciara’s mom and her aunt. Then, the comedian was brought to the Metro South Medical Center because it is the nearest hospital to their house.
Zciara shared that her uncle had a slight heartbeat when he was brought to the hospital and the doctors tried to revive him. “Pero nag-flatline na siya,” she said. She added that Joey was in the hospital for a short period of time only but the bill reached Php 55,000 because it was an emergency case.
“Sa ngayon po, nasa St. Peter Chapels pa po si Tito Joey dahil inaayos pa siya. Need din po na ma-settle ang bills, para mai-transfer siya sa St.Peter’s Chapel sa Quezon City. Sabi po ng mama ko, ibuburol si Tito Joey sa Quezon City para madali siyang mapuntahan ng kanyang mga kaibigan,” she shared.
