Joey Paras Cause Of Death – The family of comedian Joey Paras confirmed his death through this social media post.
Aside from being a comedian, Joey was also known for being a host, a director, and a theater actor. Over the course of his career in the field of entertainment, he has already done many projects with the biggest names in the industry.
Joey was a product of Tanghalang Pilipino. He was part of the musical version of Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah in 2006 and that paved the way for him in mainstream entertainment.
On October 29, 2023, Sunday, Joey’s niece Zciara Shyne Sinchon-Fabian confirmed through a Facebook post that the comedian passed away.
“To all of our family and friends, we are saddened to announce that our Tito Joey Paras passed away and joined our Creator this afternoon, October 29, 2023 at 5:40 p.m,” the post stated.
Then, the statement revealed Joey Paras’ cause of death. “Unfortunately, his heart wasn’t able to recover anymore,” his niece stated.
Back in July 2018, the comedian underwent a heart surgery. In 2020, he tested positive for COVID-19 and he was confined in the hospital at that time. Amid this medical condition, Joey asked for people’s help when it comes to his hospital bill, based on the article in PEP. At that time, he was able to collect PHP750,000 for his angioplasty operation.
In Joey’s niece’s post, it was said that his body was still in the morgue and they needed to settle his hospital bills first. With this, they are asking for help from the public for the hospital bill.
She also said that those who want to donate can send a private message to her because there were already people who were trying to scam them. Joey Paras’ niece also said that the funeral details will be announced soon.
