Dimples Romana is excited about her new show
Actress Dimples Romana talked about the offer she received from News5, the news and current affairs department of TV5 also known as the Kapatid network.
Dimples has long been under Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN. Since the Kapamilya network is more of a content provider now, collaborations were started with different TV stations.
Just recently, Dimples signed a contract with TV5, specifically for the News5 department. This is for the Kapatid morning show Gud Morning Kapatid. She said that this decision came with her desire to grow.
The actress stressed the fact that working in the same environment and with the same people for a long time would not promote faster growth.
Dimples Romana was warmly welcomed by TV5 executives during the contract signing. Based on the article in Abante, the morning show hosts Jes delos Santos, Chiqui Roa-Puno, Justin Quirino, and Maoui David are also excited to work with the actress.
Although she will have a daily show on the Kapatid network, Dimples will remain a Kapamilya. This contradicts the speculation that she left her home network for many years. She is still under Star Magic and she is set to do a TV series on the Kapamilya network next year.
Dimples revealed during the press conference for her contract signing with TV5 that she dreamed of becoming a broadcaster before. This was the reason why she got so excited when she received an offer from News5.
“Kaya nang nalaman kong News 5 ito from Ms. Luchi (Cruz-Valdes), I was so excited because I feel like it has come full circle,” the actress said.
Dimples Romana will have her own segment on the Kapatid morning show. Her segment is called May Bahay in which she will share home improvement tips, budgets, and smart parenting.
