Maxene Magalona shared this throwback video with her dad
Actress Maxene Magalona shared a post with the caption “Rest in peace, Papa” amid the issue involving her late father Francis Magalona.
Maxene is the first daughter of Francis with Pia Magalona. It was previously revealed that Pia had two children from her previous relationship. Just recently, it was revealed that Francis has another child with Abegail Rait, a former attendant who was his supposed ex-lover.
With this, Francis received criticism online for having an affair even though the public all along knew that his wife was Pia and they were together until his last breath. Abegail also harvested the anger of many netizens as she was called a “kabit” and “homewrecker.”
Francis and Pia’s wedding was also questioned as the late rapper’s former concert producer Robby Tarroza claimed that the couple was never married in the Philippines and that their relationship was chaotic with “bloody fights.”
Amid this claim from Robby, an old wedding photo of Francis and Pia resurfaced. It was said that the couple tied the knot in Hong Kong. However, Robby insisted that the couple was not married in the Philippines.
Pia and her kids apparently chose to be silent. Their social media posts these past few days, especially Maxene Magalona’s posts, are concentrated on positivity.
On October 24, the actress shared a throwback video with her dad. They were in a car, Francis was driving and Maxene was in the passenger’s seat. The Master Rapper was doing a freestyle rap and his daughter was giggling.
Maxene wrote a simple but heartwarming caption in this post. “Rest in peace, Papa [smiling face with hearts emoji],” she wrote and thanked the person who sent this video to her.
Meanwhile, on Francis M’s birthday on October 4, Maxene Magalona dedicated a post to her father. She proudly narrated the lessons that her Papa taught her.
