How true is it that Pia Magalona knows about Francis M’s affair with a former flight attendant?
The late Master Rapper Francis Magalona, also known as Francis M, became a trending topic on social media because of former flight attendant Abegail Rait.
Abegail was featured in a recent episode of Pinoy Pawstars with her daughter Gaile Francesca. She was selling a jersey shirt with the name of the late iconic rapper. In that episode, it was revealed that she was Francis’s ex-partner amid the public’s knowledge that Francis was married to Pia.
Abegail also claimed that Gail Francesca is her daughter with Francis. Reportedly, this issue is not new anymore.
It was said that back when Francis M died in 2009, photos of him with Abegail Rait and their baby circulated. Based on a previous article, two showbiz shows on GMA tried to make a report about this but it was said that TAPE Inc. asked them not to talk about the issue.
Because of this, Francis is one of the most talked-about celebrities on Twitter, now called X, on October 18. A lot of netizens shared their thoughts on the issue. There were those who slammed Abegail for allegedly tarnishing the name of the late Master Rapper as the past “cheating” was revealed.
On the other hand, there were those who said that Abegail’s daughter deserved to be recognized as one of Francis’s children and they sympathized with them for hiding this for 15 years.

Amid these polarizing comments about the revelation, a netizen claimed that Pia Magalona actually knew about Francis M’s affair with Abegail Rait.
X user @HeyItsMegs09 claimed that Pia and Francis were already separated when the latter had an affair with the former flight attendant and his family knew about it. “They were separated na when it happened. Pia had a rumored bf na that time. Manager lng ni Francis M si Pia kaya may prinoprotek kuno na image at marami ads kaya ingat sila. magsitigil kayo nasa music video pa ni gloc9 yung babae,” the netizen wrote.
Another netizen has the same thought about this. “Alam niya yan. There are rumors nung 2006-2007 na hiwalay na si Pia at Francis [M]. pero hindi legally divorce pero still manager pa din ni Francis [M] si Pia dahil friends naman sila. May kumalat na pictures impossible na hindi niya alam yun,” X user @Mariatwitsta posted.
As of writing, Pia Magalona and her children haven’t released yet a statement regarding this issue.
