How true is it that actress Carla Abellana will be paired with Kapamilya actor Coco Martin in the primetime series Batang Quiapo?
It has been rumored for quite a while that Carla will transfer to ABS-CBN. This came after reports surfaced that the actress left her previous manager and signed a contract with Triple A.
Regarding her rumored network transfer, Triple A Executive Ms. Jacqui Cara said in an interview that their company and Carla will release a statement about this.
Just recently, Carla Abellana shared a post about “leaving” and this garnered different reactions from netizens. There were those who speculated that her post was about leaving her current home network.
In a recent article by Pang-Masa showbiz writer Nora Calderon mentioned the “leaving” post that Carla shared. The writer that there were people who assumed that the actress did not want to cross paths with her estranged husband Tom Rodriquez anymore. It is because they were handled by a similar talent manager before.
Calderon also said that there were people who thought that Carla’s star was dimmed when former Kapamilya star Bea Alonzo transferred to GMA-7.
The columnist also shared that it was rumored that Carla will be part of the Kapamilya primetime series Batang Quiapo. It was also rumored that she would be paired with Coco Martin. Currently, the leading lady of Coco in the said series is former Kapuso actress Lovi Poe.
Calderon added that there will be something new about Carla Abellana. “May bagong dapat abangan kay Carla at mari-reveal na iyon one of these days!” the entertainment writer shared.
As of writing, the actress has not spoken yet regarding her rumored network transfer and her new manager.
