Derek Ramsay answered a basher
Actor Derek Ramsay was criticized for his effort to save kittens and here is his reply to his basher.
Derek is one of the most popular hunk actors in the entertainment industry in the Philippines. He is admired for the projects he did over the years and fans are also loving how he is now as a husband to actress Ellen Adarna and as a father to his son Austin and a stepdad to Elias.
Although Derek is not very active now in acting, he is still active on social media, just like his wife. It is a conscious effort on the part of the couple to lessen their showbiz project to concentrate on their family.
Despite the admiration that the couple gets for showing their unfiltered selves, it is inevitable that there are still negative comments.
In a recent post on his Instagram Story, as what was shared on a popular showbiz site, it was revealed that Derek Ramsay received criticism from a netizen after he saved the kittens.
The netizen pointed out that the actor is cruel because he never gave the mama cat the chance to clean the placenta off of her newborn kittens.
When Derek shared this screenshot of the negative reaction from a netizen, he pointed out that he was saving the kittens. “I tried to save these poor kittens and this irresponsible keyboard warrior comments this. Good job!!!” the actor wrote.
On the popular showbiz site, several netizens took the side of the netizen who criticized Derek. They pointed out that it is the nature of the mother cat to return to her babies and would take care of them.
“Pag bagong panganak na kuting kasi, rule is to leave them alone and observe.. kasi baka bumalik ang nanay. Taking them away this early gives them less chance of survival.. We can’t even bring them back kasi nahawakan na, irereject na ng nanay yan..” a netizen explained.
