The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is a 14-inch gaming laptop equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS CPU. You have the option to select between an AMD Radeon 6700S or 6800S discrete GPU. It supports a maximum of 32GB of memory and offers 1TB of storage capacity. The laptop features a single display choice: a 16:10 QHD (2560 x 1600) IPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and FreeSync support for variable refresh rates. It includes a 720p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity, and a 76Wh battery. The available ports consist of two USB-As, two USB-Cs, an HDMI port, a MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While the USB-C supports charging and video output, it does not support Thunderbolt 4 or USB4. However, a firmware update is anticipated to add USB4 support, although it’s still in development as of now.

It boasts a QHD 120Hz display with a rapid response time, ensuring a sharp image in fast-paced gaming scenes, and it also supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) to minimize screen tearing. The combination of its AMD CPU and GPU delivers a smooth gaming experience at 1080p and 1440p resolutions, though you may need to lower settings a bit to achieve 60fps in some games when playing at 1440p. Unfortunately, it tends to heat up and become noisy under heavy loads, and the GPU experiences minor throttling issues.
