Asian Persuasion actress KC Concepcion talked about being a child of parents who broke up when she was still young.
Even before she formally entered the world of show business, KC was already a celebrity because she was the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and 80s matinee idol Gabby Concepcion.
However, at a young age, KC had to deal with the reality that her parents’ relationship had come to an end and eventually, Sharon and Gabby had different partners.
In a recent interview on talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s vlog, KC Concepcion talked about her life and career. She stressed that family is very important for her. The actress admitted that she got excited when it was announced recently that Sharon and Gabby will have a concert together.
KC shared that somehow, through the concert, she had a preview of her parents’ story. It is because for her, they are just her mother and father but in showbiz and in the eyes of the public, Sharon and Gabby are stars.
“I love family,” KC said as she stressed that she makes sure she has a relationship with everyone. The actress said that those people who never experienced being separated from family members might not understand the situation in a blended family.
She also pointed out that even complete families are not perfect and with this, KC said that acceptance is important and that all are just human beings. The actress acknowledged that at some point, you may feel alone in the middle because both parents already have their own families but she said that make sure to treat yourself well.
“Okay, tanggap ko na ito yung pagkukulang sa buhay ko pero meron ako nito,” KC Concepcion said.
