Ogie Diaz talked about Kim Chiu in a recent ‘Showbiz Update’ episode
Did It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu intentionally refuse to be interviewed by talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz?
In a recent episode of Ogie’s YouTube program Showbiz Now Na with Mama Loi and Tita Jegs, they talked about the recent issue involving the Chinita Princess, based on the article in Bandera.
It is because of the sort of “inappropriate” words that Kim said on the show. With this, questions surfaced if the Kapamilya noontime show would receive another summon from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
To recall, MTRCB summoned the producer of the show and it is because of the cake scene of showbiz couple Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.
“Feeling ko palalagpasin yan ng MTRCB kasi inosente naman ‘yung mukha ni Kim Chiu,” Ogie Diaz said about what the actress-host said. Mama Loi added that Kim immediately retracted what she said and apologized.
Tita Jegs suggested that Ogie should interview Kim regarding this matter. The talent manager-vlogger said that he already tried to reach out to the actress-host. He sent him a text message.
At first, Ogie said that Kim was replying to him but as their conversation continued, his messages were just marked “delivered” and there was no reply from her. The talent manager-vlogger added that he texted again.
“Ah baka busy ka lang. ‘Di bale, next time na lang,” Ogie shared what he texted to Kim. Then, he said, “Ok lang kung ayaw mong magpa-interview sa akin. No problem.”
Mama Loi said that it appeared that celebrities were getting afraid to be interviewed by Ogie. The talent manager-vlogger said that those celebrities might just be hiding something.
Ogie Diaz stressed that he has nothing against Kim Chiu. However, he said this, “Normal ‘yan. Yan ang turo sa amin. ‘Pag ikaw lumapit at tinanggihan ka, dapat handa ka. Kapag sila lumapit at tinanggihan mo sila, dapat handa rin sila.”
