David Licauco has several businesses
Kapuso actor David Licauco shared the reason why he decided to establish a construction company after starting his restaurant business.
Aside from being a showiz personality, David also has several business ventures. He is doing well in both industries. His showbiz career bloomed so well after he played the role of Fidel in Maria Clara at Ibarra.
After that, he officially became the loveteam partner of actress Barbie Forteza. They are now known as the BarDa tandem.
David Licauco is indeed reaping the fruit of his success in showbiz and his personal businesses. In a recent interivew, based on the article in PUSH, the actor shared that his construction company came after he established his restaurants. He currently has two restaurants.
“I feel like ‘yun ‘yung gusto kong pasukin kasi nu’ng kino-construct ‘yung mga restaurants ko, na-realize ko na kaya ko palang gawin ito nang mag-isa ako. Bakit pa ako kukuha ng contractor? So dahil doon, naisipan kong gumawa ng construction company,” the Kapuso actor shared.
David that he is grabbing every opportunity that comes along his way while doing his best in every endeavor that he does.
Previously, he shared that it is his family who inspired him to start his business ventures. “I grew up in a Chinese high school and as we know, ‘yung mga Chinese, into business talaga. And I also realized na showbiz is not forever,” he shared.
He also said that he loves creating things and solving problems. The actor said that it is a challenging thing for him and he loves this.
David Licauco is currently doing a series with Barbie Forteza. It is a TV adaptation of the movie Maging Sino Ka Man movie featuring Robin Padilla and Sharon Cuneta.
