Lolit Solis shares her reaction to the current situation of Jay Sonza
Former news anchor/reporter Jay Sonza received sympathy from veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis who said that she experienced kindness from him.
Sonza became a trending topic on social media on August 15. It is because netizens were talking about the speculation that Sonza was in jail. Many netizens expressed that this is “karma” for him as he went controversial in the past for attacking showbiz and political personalities.
To recall, actress Julia Barretto filed a case against Sonza for spreading rumors that she is pregnant with her boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
On Tuesday, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) confirmed that Jay Sonza was indeed detained. Based on the report, it was due to the syndicated and large-scale illegal recruitment case filed against him.
Amid the current situation of the former reporter, Lolit Solis expressed sympathy. Through her recent Instagram writeup, the showbiz writer said that she pities Sonza who is now in jail.
She also shared that she received kindness from the former news anchor. “Wala akong puwede ireklamo kay Jay Sonza dahil naging mabait siya sa akin nuon,” Lolit said. Then, the showbiz writer hopes that Sonza will have friends who will help him get through this issue.
“Sayang talaga pag sa ganito lang mapupunta ang buhay mo. Lalo pa nga at ang ganda ng umpisa mo,” she added. Lolit also said that she is praying for Sonza’s life to be better.
For the showbiz writer, it seemed that everything that Jay Sonza worked hard for in the past was put to waste because of what happened to him now. “Prayers na lang puwede natin gawin para sa kanya,” Lolit Solis added.
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz also shared his thoughts on what happened to the former reporter. Ogie expressed “awa” for his family.
