Isko Moreno Says He’s ‘Manhid’ Already To Eat Bulaga Bashers

Isko Moreno continues to do his hosting stint in the Kapuso noontime

Seasoned showbiz personality Isko Moreno said that he is already “manhid” to the bashers of the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga.

Isko was one of the new hosts of TAPE’s noontime show on GMA after TVJ decided to leave Eat Bulaga. In a previous statement, Isko sent a message to TVJ before joining the show as a show of respect to the iconic trio who started the longest-running noontime show.

It is a known fact that TVJ’s show has a huge fandom in different generations. This is one of the reasons why bashing the new hosts is inevitable.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Isko Moreno said that he is no longer affected by the negative reactions that he and their show are getting.

During the Not Gonna Lie segment ng Dapat Alam Mo! in which he was on a lie detector test, the former Manila Mayor was asked if he gets bothered by the “pang-ookray” that they get.

Isko answered “no.” Then, he continued, “Manhid na, eh! Ha-hahaha!” He explained that he understands the loyal fans of the longest-running noontime show because this has been a part of their lives for many years already.

Kaya ang kailangang makita ng mga televiewer sa bagong ‘Eat Bulaga,’ yung mga bagong puwedeng maging magdulot ng kasiyahan at saka yung tulong,” he said. Isko also said that the show is now focusing on the viewers and not on the hosts.

Last July, rumors surfaced that Eat Bulaga will be discontinued after Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime signed a contract with GTV, a free TV network owned by GMA Network.

However, TAPE Inc debunked this as Isko Moreno and Paolo Contis signed a long-term contract with Eat Bulaga. Following that, new hosts were added to the Kapuso show like Winwyn Marquez who reacted to bashing after being part of Eat Bulaga. She shared that she reached out to the legit Dabarkads before joining the Kapuso noontime show.
