Lovi Poe is set to tie the knot with her fiance Monty Blencowe
Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe, reportedly, will leave Batang Quiapo temporarily to prepare for her wedding with her fiance businessman Monty Blencowe.
A few days ago, Lovi announced that she and Monty are now engaged. The couple was able to have a successful long-distance relationship. Lovi has been very busy doing her showbiz engagements in the Philippines while Monty is based in the States.
Based on the caption of her post announcing this lovely news, the engagement happened years ago.
In a recent article by entertainment writer Reggee Bonoan, it was said that Lovi Poe had advanced filming for Batang Quiapo because she will be gone for a long time. This came out amid the engagement announcement that the actress did on social media.
After the announcement, the next thing that made people curious is the date of the wedding. Bonoan shared that based on the comments from the friends of the couple, they don’t want to intervene or speak first as they want Lovi and Monty to do the sharing.
The showbiz writer also shared that it was said that a new cast member will be introduced in the Kapamilya primetime series. “Sa pagkawala ni Lovi sa “Batang Quiapo” ay may papasok daw na kilalang aktres na matagal nang umuungot kay Direk Coco Martin na sana’y bigyan siya ng pagkakataong mapasama sa serye,” Bonoan shared.
Lovi Poe plays the character of Mokang in Batang Quiapo. In a previous post, she shared how she prepared for her challenging pole dance scene. The actress shared that she really trained for this for many months. Her efforts paid off because fans loved how she presented that scene.
