Maja Salvador made a revelation about her civil wedding with Rambo Nuñez
Actress Maja Salvador and businessman Rambo Nuñez had a civil wedding ceremony last February 14, 2023, months before their beach wedding in Bali, Indonesia.
On July 31, Maja and Rambo tied the knot but this is not actually the first time they exchanged “I do”. The couple were engaged last year. It was during their Easter Sunday activities when Rambo popped the question.
Early this year, rumors surfaced that the couple will tie the knot on February 14. However, the camp of the actress denied that a wedding happened at that time. It was said that the couple just celebrated their 4th anniversary.
In an interview for Preview Magazne’s feature, Maja Salvador revealed that she and Rambo Nuñez had a civil wedding ceremony. She shared that initially, they only planned to have one wedding.
“Pero, since pinili namin to have a destination wedding, hindi kasi i-o-honor ng Philippines ’yung wedding namin sa Bali,” she explained. The actress added that the civil wedding, which was held at the Grand Hyatt Manila, was more of a technical reason.
There were 60 guests who attended the event. During the ceremony, it was just the relatives of the couple but friends joined the celebration during the after party.
February 14 was marked as their 4th anniversary and that was one of the reasons why they chose that date. For the civil wedding ceremony, Maja wore a dainty white dress created by Mark Bumgarner.
The actress mentioned that she specifically requested a bow. “Halos lahat ng sinuot ko may bow. Kahit na parang joke siya pakinggan, cute details lang din [’yun],” Maja Salvador said.
