Winwyn Marquez shared that she talked to legit Dabarkads for her Eat Bulaga stint
Kapuso star Winwyn Marquez reacted to the bashing that she received after she joined the new hosts of Eat Bulaga on GMA.
Winwyn is one of the newest addition to the Kapuso noontime show. When the new version of the show was launched on July 1, it was led by Paolo Contis, Betong Sumaya, Buboy Villar, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, and Alexa Miro.
Previously, Paolo and Isko signed a long-term contract with TAPE Inc. and this debunked the allegations that the show will soon end.
Eventually, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno joined the Kapuso noontime show. Now, Winwyn is doing her hosting stint in Eat Bulaga and she is aware that this did not sit well with some people.
Based on the article in Bandera, Winwyn Marquez admitted that she received negative reactions when she became part of the Kapuso show. She said that she had read hate comments directed at her.
The Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 also shared that she reached out to the legit Dabarkads before joining Eat Bulaga. “Prior kasi ako mag-guest, nag-message din ako sa mga dating hosts. Nagpasintabi. Nagpasabi rin siyempre, kina Bossing, wala naman, okay naman sila,” she said.
The Kapuso actress said that she wanted to show respect to the legit Dabarkads before starting her hosting stint in the noontime show.
“Ang iba naman po, nag-reply. Siyempre, yung iba, naintindihan naman nila ako, wala namang problema. Okay naman. Siyempre, supportive naman sila,” Winwyn shared, adding that there was no explanation that happened and she was just told to enjoy stint.
As of the writing, Winwyn Marquez cannot say yet if she will become a regular host on Eat Bulaga. Right now, all she can say is that she will continue to be part of the show. She also shared that it was not difficult for her to mingle with the other hosts of the Kapuso noontime show because she already knew them and worked with them in the past.
