Tony Labrusca gets asked if he has fears of going back to doing projects after the controversies that involved his name
Actor Tony Labrusca shared his thoughts on coming back to showbiz after taking a break amid the controversies he faced.
Tony rose to fame through his lead role in the movie Glorious with Angel Aquino. This opened a lot of doors for his acting career but while he is on his way to the top, intrigues came along the way.
Based on the article in PEP, the actor faced two counts of acts of lasciviousness complaints. He was accused of taking off the shirt of a female guest at a party exposing her private area.
However, this case did not continue. Tony Labrusca was also accused of strangling a male guest at the same party.
After taking a break, the actor had his showbiz come back just recently. He stars in the new series Nag-aapoy Na Damdamin. In a recent interview, he was asked if he got worried to have his return after the controversies.
“You know what, I never really thought about it, kasi siguro with all that just happened, I stopped planning na lang. [I] just started living my life. God is the one planning for me, so it worked out nicely,” he said.
When asked if there is a conscious effort on his part to stay away from parties and get involved in controversies, he said that he loves to party and he is not sure if this will change.
“But I think, you know what, you work hard, [so you] play hard too. Do everything you need to do,” he added. Tony Labrusca also shared his mantra right now, which is “Don’t trust anybody, stay humble, and no matter what anybody does to you, stay kind.”
