Mother of Rico Yan Calls Out Sabrina M and Appeals to Stop Using Her Son
The mother of the late actor Rico Yan calls out 90s actress Sabrina M and appealed to stop using her son’s name.
Ogie Diaz, a talent manager and showbiz YouTuber, revealed the late actor’s brother Bobby Yan’s text message in his entertainment vlog. Bobby forwarded their mother, Mrs Sita Yan,’s, reaction to the situation regarding her son, who died in 2002, in the text message.
Ogie made the text messages available for the public to read. Mrs Yan claims that even though the tragic tragedy that took her son’s life occurred two decades ago, the pain that Rico’s death caused was already ‘etched’ into them.
The late actor’s mother was sad that her son’s name was brought into the controversy because Rico could no longer defend himself against Sabrina’s allegations. The returning actress recently revealed a “secret relationship” with Rico.
“The recent news swirling around Rico is very unfair. He is no longer around to give his comment, to either refute, deny, or acknowledge the claims. it is not only unfair but disrespectful,” Rico’s mother said.
She pleaded with Sabrina and the other persons involved in the matter to quit using her son. She also asked that her son be allowed to rest in peace. “I ask everyone concerned to please STOP using Rico’s name for their own individual purposes. Please leave Rico, and us in peace,” she stated, based on the showbiz vlog of Ogie.
Rico’s ex, Claudine Barretto, apparently disputed Sabrina’s claims and even contacted her legal counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio is planning to sue the returning actress. Topacio issues Sabrina an ultimatum to apologize publicly for her charges.
However, the actress refused to apologize publicly and insisted that her statements were real. She stated that she will accept the case that has been filed against her. She also intimated that she will pursue a lawsuit against her critics.
