Rayver Cruz, Jasmine Curtis-Smith on working w/ each other in 'Can’t Let Go'

Rayver Cruz and Jasmine Curtis-Smith will work together for the first time in this upcoming series

Kapuso stars Rayver Cruz and Jasmine Curtis-Smith shared their thoughts on working with each other for the first time in the series Can’t Let Go.

The said series will be part of the afternoon drama line-up of the Kapuso network. Since this is their first onscreen partnership, their chemistry will be put to the test.

Although it is their first project together, Jasmin said during a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, that she already feels that Rayver is a warm person.

Jasmine Curtis-Smith said, “I know for a fact na itong si Rayver — parang meron na siyang warmth eh. Well, I mean we’re not—wala pa po kaming gano’n kalalim na friendship, pero alam ko na madali siyang pakisamahan and magiging magaan kasama sa trabaho.”

Rayver Cruz expressed excitement about this project that he will share with the Kapuso actress. He also noted that they have seen each other during events and gatherings of artists.

The actor also mentioned how afternoon dramas go and he hopes he will be able to hone his character for his new series.

“Pagka hapon po kasi talagang heavy drama lagi. And every time na may drama naman is nakaka-excite talaga kasi you get to explore the characters and parang ikaw mismo maglalagay ng backstory sa character mo,” Rayver said.

Jasmine agreed with this as she is also preparing herself. The actress noticed that characters in afternoon dramas seemed to be going through a lot in life. On the other hand, she stressed that they love challenges.

Rayver Cruz and Jasmine Curtis-Smith will be joined by Gina Alajar, Liezel Lopez, Martin del Rosario, Patricia Coma, Kim De Leon, Luis Hontiveros, Jeniffer Maravilla, Crystal Paras, Billie Hakenson and Bruce Roeland in this series.
