Willie Revillame teased his show’s return through this song
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame released a new song with the title “Babalik Ako” which appeared to be a teaser of his show Wowowin‘s return.
Willie has been one of the most popular personalities when it comes to variety and game shows. For many years, he focused on his hosting stint. Previously, his show was airing on ALLTV, the network owned by his friend business tycoon Manny Villar.
However, problems occurred in the newly-established TV station because of poor signal in different places which directly translates to low ratings.
Early this year, Willie Revillame terminated his contract with ALLTV. Just recently, the veteran host shared a video on his social media pages.
Based on the article in Balita, Willie wrote the lyrics, and the music was created by seasoned composer Vehnee Saturno. The veteran host simply captioned his post, “Sa Programa ng Bawat Pilipino Kayo ang Bida Dito. Abangan.”
The thumbnail of the video showed this phrase “Namimiss ko na ang inyong hiyawan.” Does this mean that Willie will return to doing his show?
However, the question that comes after this is where would he air his show? It is because he already terminated his contract with ALLTV.
Meanwhile, just recently veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin shared that Willie was offered by TAPE Inc. to host Eat Bulaga when Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and the legit Dabarkads decided to resign.
Cristy said that Willie refused to accept the offer out of his respect for the TVJ. However, rumors surfaced that it was Willie Revillame who first approached the Jalosjos-owned production company for his Wowowin show.
