Marian Rivera is not afraid to get old
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera shared her thoughts on an inevitable thing to happen – people get old.
Marian is indeed one of the most beautiful faces in the Philippine entertainment industry. Being beautiful, handsome, or presentable is part of being a celebrity. There are a lot of comments on Marian’s beauty saying that she looks youthful.
However, in a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the Kapuso star said that she is not afraid to get old because she knows this is inevitable.
“For me, wala naman sigurong disadvantage (ang kanyang beauty). Kailangan nating tanggapin ang katotohanan na, alam mo yun, hindi naman forever young ka,” Marian Rivera shared.
She stressed that the most important thing is how to take care of one’s self while getting older. The actress said that there are some beauty projects that could help people in this aspect.
“Kasi, lahat tayo darating diyan. Lahat tayo tatanda. Yun nga lang, paano ka tatanda na mas maayos, mas maganda, di ba? For me, okey ako doon. In-embrace ko yung ganu’ng pagkakataon,” Marian said.
She admitted that she has a complicated beauty routine and that she is “maarte.” The Kapuso star shared that probably, this is one of the things she inherited from her mother. “Si Mama talaga, since maliit pa ako, gusto talaga niya naglo-lotion, which is naipapasa ko sa mga anak ko talaga na lotion kami nang lotion. Pagkatapos maligo, bago matulog,” she shared and she was able to pass this to her kids.
Marian Rivera also shared that she would even apply lotion to her husband Dingdong Dantes even though he is already asleep. She added that being beautiful is also having inner beauty. “Siyempre kailangan inside din, masaya ka, happy ka na alam mo yun, sa sarili mo, sa pamilya mo, sa lahat ng achievements mo, so mahalagang combination yang dalawa na yan,” she explained.
