Ricci Rivero has finally spoken about his breakup with Andrea Brillantes
Basketball player Ricci Rivero shared his side of the story behind his breakup with actress Andrea Brillantes and it was revealed that even his parents received bashing.
Ricci sat down with King of Talk Boy Abunda to explain his side following the cheating accusations against him. When it was confirmed that Ricci and Andrea are no longer together, the basketball player was accused of having an affair with beauty queen-councilor Leren Mae Bautista.
Leren Mae denied the cheating rumors already through an official statement and Ricci also clarified during the interview that there is nothing romantic going on between them.
Ricci Rivero also denied that he has a relationship with the girl who Andrea Brillantes saw in his condo. The basketball player stressed that the girl was his friend’s companion.
Ricci’s parents, Paolo and Abigail, accompanied him during the Fast Talk interview to show moral support for him, based on the article in PEP. His manager for his acting career, Mark Salamat of Virtual Playground was also there to support him.
It was said that Ricci’s parents treated Andrea as their own daughter because they have seven sons. While the interview was happening, Abigail was crying. His parents confirmed that there was a person who approached them when they were in a mall and said, “Ang anak ninyo cheater.”
Even Ricci’s young brother is also receiving bashing because of the breakup issue. Abigail was more emotional with her son and asked for forgiveness from them because they were dragged into the issue.
As of writing, Andrea Brillantes has not released a statement yet to answer the statement of Ricci Rivero.
