Here’s What Happened Before Ricci Rivero’s Split From Andrea Brillantes
RICCI RIVERO – Celebrity basketball player Ricci Rivero admitted that he and ex-girlfriend Andrea Brillantes had an argument over a woman before they broke up.
April 2022, when the relationship between Ricci Rivero and Andrea Brillantes became official but only this June, the former confirmed their breakup through a Twitter post. It can be remembered that Ricci and Andrea were open about their relationship so many were surprised by their sudden breakup.
Ricci recently broke his silence about his split with the Kapamilya actress. He the story of what happened before his breakup with Andrea on the program Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Ricci Rivero admitted that his family also receives bashing following his breakup from Andrea Brillantes. He said, “First of all Tito Boy, ito ‘yung main reason kung bakit po ako mag-speak-up It’s because of my family kasi kung ako lang Tito Boy, wala naman pong problema sa akin e, ‘di ba? Sanay naman po ako na maraming ginagawang kuwento [tungkol sa akin], maraming accusations and everything, kung ako, kaya ko namang tanggapin e, kasi alam ko namang hindi totoo. Pero kapag sa family ko, siguro it’s time for me to step-up and kailangan ko po silang protektahan dito sa mga issues na ganito.”
“So ‘yung akin Tito Boy, kung ako okay lang pero ‘wag naman ‘yung pamilya ko,” he added.

After this, Ricci Rivero shared some details about his breakup with Andrea. He said, it was only April this year when he and the actress decided to cool off due to some problems, but the split that was only supposed to be temporary was finalized last May.
According to the basketball player, one of the root causes of their breakup was the woman the actress saw at his place who was said to be her friend’s partner.
“Tito Boy ‘yung cause ng breakup, ‘yung speculations niya na kumakalat sa social media na may nakita siyang girl doon sa place ko. Pero ilang beses na rin naming pinag-usapan ‘to. As in sobrang daming beses na sinabi ko sa kaniya with all the evidences I have kasi may mga conversation even with my friends ‘di ba? Na hindi po sa akin’yung girl, may papuntang friend ako ng midnight or madaling araw tapos hindi ko naman alam na may kasama siya, tapos ‘yun ‘yung inabutan niya that time,” he said.
Ricci Rivero said that his relationship with Andrea was still good after the argument over the woman. “Alam ko na alam niya at naniniwala siya sa akin kasi even after that Tito Boy, nag-uusap pa rin kami. Nagkikita pa rin kami e. Maayos kami, ‘yung usual us, yung walang away, walang taasan ng boses, walang anything. ‘Yung maayos na pinag-uusapan namin ‘yung sa amin,” said Ricci.
