Pokwang released a new statement against her former partner
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang reiterated that ex-partner American actor Lee O’Brian is an “undesirable alien.”
Pokie continues her legal battle against Lee. She filed a petition to deport her former partner. The comedienne stressed that Lee transgressed the law in the Philippines and he deserves to be deported.
She personally went to the Bureau of Immigration to file the case. Pokie said that it is about time that Lee should reap the punishment that he should get.
A recent report stated that Lee O’Brian filed a counter affidavit against the deportation case filed by Pokwang. He also stressed that despite the legal battle that his former partner started, he still has respect for her as the mother of his daughter Malia.
Lee also said that he hopes BI will be fair regarding this case. Following the reports about the American actor’s effort to defend his side, based on the article in Balita, Pokie shared this statement from her legal counsel.
“We maintain that Mr. William Lee O’Brian must be deported immediately from the Philippines,” the statement stressed.
Pokie’s camp also said that the American actor is an undesirable alien who should be kicked out of the country. “Undesirable aliens have no place in this country. With this case we are pursuing, we are putting a stop to the gross manipulation of Philippine immigration laws and the acts of abuse against our client, Ms. Marietta Subong (Pokwang’s real name),” the statement continued.
The comedienne also stressed that the “Philippines must be a safe place for everyone, especially us Filipinos.”
Pokie has been receiving support from her friends in the entertainment industry and her fans. However, for some, she is already doing “too much” and these are “unnecessary.”
