Joross Gambo showed his support for Paolo Contis
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis was defended by his Ang Pangarap Kong Oskars co-star Joross Gambo against his bashers.
It is known to many that Paolo has been bashed since his breakup with LJ Reyes was confirmed until he confirmed his relationship with Yen Santos, and now that he is part of the new Eat Bulaga on GMA.
In previous interviews, Paolo expressed that he does not let the negative comments affect him. He is aware of the bashing against him online but he is just shrugging his shoulder.
During the premiere night of the movie of Paolo Contis and Joross Gamboa, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the latter also shared his thoughts on the bashing that his co-star is receiving these past few months.
The two actors were asked if they what they are willing to sacrifice for their dreams since their movie is about aspiring to be a successful person. Joross said that before striving to be a successful person, one should know first the definition of success. He said that it is because everyone has his or her own journey in life.
“Iba ‘yung success sa kaniya, iba ‘yung success sa akin, and kung gagawa ka ng sacrifice, ‘yung sa sarili mo dapat, ‘yung mga self desire mo, and kailangan alam din natin ‘yung purpose natin kung bakit natin ginagawa lahat ng ‘to para meron ka lang din pattern na susundan at hindi tayo maligaw,” he said.
Then the former Star Circle Quest contestant said, “Ang pinaka-tip ko lang din laging papunta kay God ang pinaka-purpose natin.” With this, a reporter commented that it is a good thing that he will influence Paolo Contis on this.
Joross defended his co-actor. He said that Paolo is “matino” and he is just “palabiro.” “Dahil nga ‘yung mga issue it doesn’t mean na masama siyang tao kaya ‘yung mga namba-bash… Ang hirap magsalita e, pero bilang kaibigan, ako, kilala ko si Pao personally,” Joross added.
Paolo’s co-star also stressed that everyone commits mistakes but this does not mean that other people should be judgmental already. Joross pointed out that everyone deserves to have a second chance or even a third chance.
