Paolo Contis values his time with Yen Santos
Kapuso star Paolo Contis said that he still has time for his girlfriend actress Yen Santos despite his busy schedule for his daily noontime show Eat Bulaga, weekly gag show Bubble Gang, and movie shoots.
Paolo’s schedule became busier when he started his hosting stint in the Kapuso noontime show. It is known to many that he is one of the new hosts of the show formerly led by the iconic TVJ trio, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
Following the first episode of the show, Paolo and the other hosts of the show received bashing. Despite the negative reactions, they continue doing their job.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Paolo Contis was asked if he can handle his schedule as he will go back to shooting for Bubble Gang and still do Eat Bulaga from Monday to Saturday.
“Kaya. Kaya. Kaya!” the Kapuso star replied. He said that work is a blessing and it is a good problem to have several jobs.
When asked if he is already investing his talent fees for his future, Paolo laughed. “Yun ang ikinukulit ni Nay Lolit. Siyempre, alam mo, maraming bagay na ano. Siyempre, una sa lahat, kailangang mag-stable muna lahat ng trabaho when it comes to Bulaga, di ba?” he said.
Paolo also shared that the management of Eat Bulaga is very understanding of his other showbiz engagements. There will be some adjustments in the show and in some episodes, he will not be able to make it because of shootings abroad.
“May mga plano kaming gawin pa na iba tuwing nasa labas ako. At the same time, in-assure ko rin ang MAVX, walang maaapektuhan sa mga… May tatlo o apat na pelikula pa kaming isu-shoot this year, e. Hindi yun maaapektuhan,” he said.
He is also open to the possibility that Yen Santos will guest on Eat Bulaga. Then, he was asked if he still has time for his girlfriend, and the actor said, “Siyempre, siyempre, siyempre. Meron, meron. Maiksi lang naman ang oras ko sa Eat Bulaga!. So of course, I make time for my personal ano.” Paolo Contis also shared that his girlfriend is very understanding.
