Unreleased footage from the Miss Universe Philippines preliminary competition is now available for pageant fans to watch. Netizens can now have a closer look at the MUPH preliminaries as the organization posted a behind-the-scenes glimpse on their official IG account.
Current Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee, current Miss Supranational delegate Pauline Amelinckx, Miss Cavite Samantha Panlilio, Miss Davao Oriental Klyza Castro, Miss Mandaluyong Iman Cristal, Miss Pampanga Angelique Manto, and Miss Pasig Kali Navea-Huff are some of the queens who appeared in the video posted on the Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account.
Winners Michelle Dee and Pauline Amelinckx charmed viewers with their replies when asked what the South Sea pearl symbolized to each of them.
“Well the South Sea pearl is an amazing thing and I think it can actually represent every Filipino. For me, my pageant journey, for every time that I have joined, I have discovered something new about myself, something beautiful,” Dee said.
“And perfection takes time. And just like the South Sea pearl, it takes months, if not years to perfect that. And for every Filipina, we embody this kind of ambiance and this kind of perfection that we should really be proud to show the world,” she added.

Meanwhile, Boholana beauty queen Pauline Amelinckx had this answer: “I really relate to the South Sea pearl because it also undergoes different processes. It also passes through many different caring hands before the South Sea pearl becomes the beauty that it actually is. And it is the same with us people. We also undergo through different processes before we can become our best, our shiniest and our ultimate.”

Pauline Amelinckx and Michelle Dee are currently getting ready for their respective international pageant competitions. Pauline has been urging fans to support her in the Miss Supranational competitions. The most recent one is the SUPRA Chat challenge, and if she wins, she may advance to the top of the competition.
On the other hand, Michelle has taken part in a number of Pride Month events, the most recent of which being a performance with Rhian Ramos at a LoveYourself PH Pride gathering.
