NBI Agents Arrested the Alleged “Bag Man” of Arnie Teves Carrying Money for Degamo Suspects
The agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested the alleged “bag man” of suspended congressman Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr.
Teves’ accused “bag man” was captured inside the NBI facility bringing money for Degamo suspects. According to the report of Abante, he was apprehended while attempting to pay money to ten suspects in the assassination of former Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo.
Teves is suspected of murdering Degamo. It should be noted that Department of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla accused Teves of bribing each suspect Degamo killed to withdraw their accusations against Teves.
Teves Jr said in a Facebook video that the reported bribe to each suspect was a “fabrication”. Teves stated that he did not know where Justice Secretarty get that kind of report. He even called the accusation “kathang isip”.
“Hindi ko alam saan nakuha ‘yung 8 million na number eh. Bakit hindi 7, hindi 9, hindi 10 million? Baka pumasok sa isip niya na gamitin ‘yung number 8 dahil swerte? Doon mo makikita na mga kathang isip,” said Teves.
Teves insisted, the Justice secretary is lying. “Kung ano-anong lumalabas sa utak mo, hindi naman totoo. At nasabi mo pa sa publiko. Anong istura mo ngayon? ‘Di sinungaling, ‘di ba? So, wala: king of sablay, fake news, sinungaling.”
