Sponsors of Eat Bulaga in GMA Allegedly to Move to New Show of TVJ on TV5

Some sponsors of the GMA’s noontime show Eat Bulaga will allegedly move to the new show of the iconic trio TVJ on TV5 network.

According to a Bilyonaryo story, former Eat Bulaga hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon received support from 80% of their previous sponsors to include advertising in their new TV show5. 80% of advertisers have already signed advertising contracts for TVJ’s impending new show.

Aside from the trio, the contracts will include other co-hosts who departed from Television and Production Exponents Inc (TAPE Inc) on May 31, 2023. According to the story, the rest of the sponsors will follow after their pre-booked commercials with TAPE have aired.

TVJ and other Eat Bulaga hosts departed TAPE due to a variety of concerns, including unpaid talent fees and an alleged decision by TAPE executives to remove some employees from the production of the noontime show. One potential advertiser for TVJ’s new show is grocery chain Puregold, which has already expressed support for the renowned trio’s choice.

Joey grew emotional after being checked on by the company’s owner. As of this writing, TAPE Inc. had not responded to the choice of some of their sponsors to support TVJ. TVJ paid a visit to TV5, and their creative team is presently in rehearsals, preparing for their much-awaited debut on the network.
