Buboy Villar speaks about the rumors that he will leave Eat Bulaga
Kapuso actor Buboy Villar clarified that the Ang Pinaka contestant who went viral was not his employee in his “pares” business.
The new Eat Bulaga on GMA has a new segment. One of the episodes went viral when netizens noticed that the winner was shown in one of Buboy’s vlogs as his “tindero.”
With this, netizens accused the noontime show as “scripted.” Following this, rumors surfaced that Buboy will leave the show because of the controversy.
However, a source close to the Kapuso actor stressed that it is just a rumor that he will leave the show. Indeed, in the next episodes after the viral segment, Buboy Villar is still there.
Based on the article in Abante, DJ JhaiHo shared the conversation he had with the Kapuso actor just recently. Buboy has this answer when he was asked if his friends Marian Rivera and Ruru Madrid talked to him amid the bashing that he is receiving right now.
“Tinawanan ko lang ‘yan. Actually, I’m at my lowest sa ngayon. But I’m okey,” he said. The actor also said that he is happy for the opportunity that was given to him. He also stressed that he respects the TVJ who spent more than four decades in the noontime show.
However, he said, “Nagtatrabaho lang. ‘Wag nilang sabihin na kailangang-kailangan ko ba ng pera? Ang pinaka-loyalty ko lang talaga ay sa nanay ko.”
Buboy also clarified that the “Ang Pinaka” contestant is not his employee. He explained that the contestant is his fan who would always accompany him. The actor also stressed that he will not hinder the opportunity for that contestant to win.
“Napili siya sa studio. It’s his lucky day. Sa halagang P2,000 or P3,000, ipagkakait ko ba ‘yon? ‘Wag ‘yan, ‘wag ‘yan! Eh, nasaktohan lang,” Buboy Villar said.
