Kyline Alcantara looked back to the time when she was just starting in showbiz
Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara revealed that she and Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano experienced bullying during their newbie years in showbiz.
Kyline started her career at a young age. Many people may not know that she started in ABS-CBN before she transferred to GMA. Her recent project as a Kapuso is the series Love At First Read with her onscreen partner Mavy Legaspi.
In a recent interview for this new Kapuso series, based on the article in Bandera, Kyline was asked who among the Kapamilya young stars she wants to work with if given a chance.
The Kapuso actress mentioned Andrea Brillantes. They worked together in the 2013 Kapamilya series Annaliza. Even though Kyline Alcantara is now a Kapuso, her friendship with the two young Kapamilya stars is still there. “And, of course, gusto ko rin makatrabaho si Belle,” the Kapuso actress said about Belle Mariano.
Then, Kyline shared that she and Belle went through a lot when they were together as child actresses.
“Kasi lumaki ho kami together sa showbiz industry. Sabay kaming na-bully,” the Kapuso actress said. Kyline added that there were a lot of things that happened to Belle and that she is the only one who knows about these and vice versa.
“Ang sarap ho sa pakiramdam kasi, siyempre, hindi man ho ganu’n kaparehas ang mga pinagdaanan namin dati, pero dati, grabe yung supporta namin sa isa’t isa,” she said.
Kyline added that until now, they are supporting each other and the bond between them is still strong. She also said that their connection is not a showbiz friendship. The Kapuso actress added that they are happy that right now they are on the path to achieving their dreams.
